Mount Athos is a holy peninsula in northern Greece, a narrow stretch of land surrounded by the sea. Fertile soil, rich subsoil and a temperate climate make it one of the most fortunate regions in the Mediterranean.
It is also a place of wisdom, knowledge, culture and respect.

An ecosystem preserved
for more than 1,200 years.
For centuries, Mount Athos has united the Byzantine tradition of monastic life with the wonder of nature: dense forests, olive groves, vineyards and thousands of species of herbs and flowers.
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and part of the NATURA 2000 network, the EU's most ambitious ecological program, the Athonite peninsula prohibits any use of pesticides or conventional forms of agriculture.

The monks live in harmony with the land, working together to preserve the wild character of the mountain. Each herb, leaf and blossom is treated with care: observed, harvested by hand, then stored in strictly controlled conditions to protect its fine, pure properties.
An ancestral knowledge
From nature, to knowledge, to beauty.
We discovered the deep knowledge the monks have built up around the ingredients grown on this land. Over the years, those ingredients have only grown stronger in their ability to protect and heal the skin.
We worked alongside specialised pharmacists, agronomists and chemists to choose the Athonite plants and herbs best suited to skincare. Athonites was born here, inspired by recipes from monastic manuscripts hidden in centuries-old libraries, with one purpose: the warmest glow and the finest wellness for skin and body.
Athonites' formulas
Our own water,
from untouched springs.
Each Athonites formula is built on an aqueous infusion of five organically certified, wild-harvested herbs from Mount Athos, chosen for their strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The natural water comes from the untouched springs of the mountain itself.
We combine this base with selected complementary actives that strengthen its healing and protective benefits and improve the formula's anti-pollution and anti-ageing action.
